Our most representative mountain is the Montgó Massif, located within the Montgó Natural Park and with a height of 753 metres above sea level. This mountain can be seen from many kilometres away, even on clear days it can be seen from Valencia, almost 100 kilometres from Jávea. As we enter the town the whole plain we see up to the foothills of the Montgó is the area of Les Valls where all the houses have views of the optical effect of the Montgó elephant. What is the elephant? It is a silhouette that is perfectly represented if we look at it from Jávea and we can even see the sleeping eye and the trunk as far as the sea.

Among the reasons to buy and live in this area of Jávea, we must highlight the communication with the city centre. We have two main roads that connect the Montgo, Les Valls and the Tosal district with the centre, on the one hand the CV-735 road or also known as the Jesús Pobre road has a distance of almost 6 kilometres on this road we find different basic services for the neighbours such as a supermarket open seven days a week, dentists, small chapel or church, wine cellar, tennis club, swimming pool shop and some of the best known restaurants in Javea, such as El Gaucho restaurant with an incredible variety of grilled meats or Le Gourmand Restaurant.
We can also access this area of Jávea by the CV-734 road which is the main entrance to the town of Javiense which also offers some services and we find the riding centre highly recommended, petrol stations, garden centres... although this road is practically not used to reach the urbanisations. It is recommended to use the CV-735 because it has less traffic.
