The fact that this is one of the most beautiful places on the Mediterranean coast is clear, but what must be emphasized is that the viewpoints of Javea are the most impressive of the Costa Blanca. It is a very popular tourist route because you can contemplate the most spectacular views you will ever see in your life.
This walk is perfect for those couples who want to accumulate unique memories in their lives, but also for people who enjoy the contact with nature to get inspired or leave behind tensions and stress. This route is done both by tourists and those who have decided to adopt Jávea as their town to live in.
Els Molins or Los Molinos
The route of the viewpoints of Jávea is in itself an unparalleled experience, among the 15 natural balconies that compose it is the one of Los Molinos, which is accessed by climbing the Cap Sant Antoni road.
The name of the place is due to the presence of 11 windmills dating from the fourteenth and eighteenth centuries. Nowadays they do not work and lack covers and blades, but they still impose their presence and serve as a shield for the strong wind. From this viewpoint you can see real postcards of sea and mountains right in front of your eyes.
Viewpoint of Cap de Sant Antoni
At 160 metres high it has to be impressive to stand at the top and look out over the breathtaking views, including the island of Ibiza on a clear day. It serves as a transition between the beaches and the cliffs of Alicante. There you can find an old lighthouse that was used to warn of the presence of pirates.
To be able to contemplate the beautiful views of one of the best viewpoints of Javea, it is advisable to do it at sunset, as the sunsets of this place of the Mediterranean are incredible.
Punta de l'Arenal
This viewpoint is a must for those who go to the Arenal beach, so called because it is the only beach in Jávea that has sand. This is a very lively place because it has a restaurant service and entertainment venues. From the viewpoint you can see the entire beach and the surrounding landscape.
This beach is often used for sports such as surfing, so going to the viewpoint and watching people playing with the waves can be a bit entertaining. From there you can also admire the imposing Montgó mountain on the horizon.
Cap Negre, a balcony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea
It is one of the obligatory stops on the route of the Mediterranean balconies. Considered one of the most imposing viewpoints of Jávea, Cap Negre offers impressive cliffs and a fairly leafy forest and the paths to go down to the beach.
In addition to being able to contemplate the landscape in its fullness from above, you can also go down to the beach to practice diving in the impressive caves that exist in the place. Definitely, Jávea is an idyllic place, both for holidays and to stay and live there.
